CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

In this project we developed our concept through using UX methods to define our users' contexts, pain points and jobs that need to be done. Through this we are able to solve this challenge in a human-centered way, by focusing on practical and innovative solutions, and turn these ideas into tangible, testable products.

LEAN UX CANVAS

We followed the Lean UX Canvas template and used sticky notes on Miro to brainstorm and identify the problems and ideal outcomes. While having a focus on our target audience we planned steps towards our proposed solutions.

PERSONAS

By creating User Personas, we were able to understand the different types of users that we might encounter, and help us to further understand their needs, experiences and expectations.

JOURNEY MAPPING

We used Journey Mapping to visualize the user experience and how they interact with the product. This process helps create an overview of the entire user journey which allows us to gain insights into pain points and how to improve the overall user experience.

CARD SORTING

With the key insights we gained from extensive research and concept exploration, we used Card Sorting to organise information into logical groups, while evaluating information architecture and content structure.

USER FLOW

Based on the results of the card sorting activity, we created the User Flow which portrays a visual picture of how users could access specific functions or perform particular tasks in the app.  This allows us to focus on the experience and needs of the user, and creating a foundation for prototyping.
